The Tale of Narcissus and his Reflection

If it couldn't get any more embarrassing for the American public, it has....not only did Obama gift the Queen of England an iPod (which she already has) he also put pictures of himself and his speeches already downloaded on it.

He must be so in love with himself that he thinks everyone else is, too. Perhaps he should read up on the tale of Narcissus.....we all know how that ended, don't we.

Were the charges against Senator Stevens a Set -UP?

Last fall, Senator Ted Stevens (Alaska-R) was convicted of seven counts of concealing up to $250,000 in gifts from the head of an oil concern. He faced a significant prison term and had just lost the U.S. Senate seat he had held for 40 years.

Poof! Just like that, outta thin air, the charges were dropped due to prosecutorial misconduct.

Kind of makes you wonder just who ordered this witch hunt, especially since the timing of Stevens' conviction was just almost too convenient during the heated presidential election. Many Alaskans have argued that Stevens would have won another term had he not been convicted the week before the election. After all, he lost to Begich, a Democrat, by only 1 percentage point.

I smell a conspiracy.......... or a rat.

Going back to his "Old Playbook" - Rules for Radicals

Barry appears to be that kid who always got teased on in the playground. When he finally grew up, Barry continues to "keep score." Forever trying to make up for lost ground from being taunted as one of the "uncool" kids.

This scenario is unfolding within the Obama Administration. But this time, Barry is keeping score against his very own - the Democrats.

The kid that got bullied as a junior senator from Illinois, is becoming the bully. He won't take NO for an answer and is keeping score against those that do - using the same old tactics from the tattered playbook of his mentor, Saul Alinsky, the radical Chicago community organizer.

Members of Congress should be very worried about how Barry is "keeping score." He is steeped in the ways of Chicago politics. Now, Barry, that's the Chicago Way!

Alinsky's 1971 book, "Rules for Radicals," is a favorite of the Obamas, even Michelle quoted it at the Democratic Convention. One Alinsky tactic is to "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." That's what the White House did in targeting Rush Limbaugh, Rick Santelli and Jim Cramer.

Side Note: The president's press secretary, Robert Gibbs, went so far as to lash all three from the White House press podium.

How Pathetic. Let's grow up already, Barry.

Sorry Your Majesty...

Yes, we won the Revolutionary War, but I guess our Homeland (England) kept all the class. As if the DVD fiasco wasn't enough, Obama thinks the gift fit for a Queen is an iPod?

I, for one, was hoping Obama would give Massachusetts back to the Queen - Barney Frank included.

Geesh, show a little class next time Obama. Or take some lessons.

I guess I should be happy he didn't give her a talking fish.

For the bacon lovers out there....

Washed-up Terrorist Trying to Stay Relevant

This guy just doesn't know when to "go quietly into the night." The washed-up domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers, is whining about his cancelled appearance at a Naperville, IL high school:

"This cancellation provides terrible lessons for these young people about the limits of freedom and the importance of obedience, and it must be painful for many of them to watch people they admire collapse under pressure," Ayers wrote Tuesday in an e-mail. "It has all the hallmarks of suppression of speech: incitement of fear, intimidation of well-meaning folks, mob rule."

Billy boy knows a thing or two about mob rule, fear and intimidation with the use of bombs, radical organizing and the like (See Weather Underground).

If that ain't the pot calling the kettle black.
